GSM = Grams per Square Metre and is a measure of paper density (grammage)

The GSM is not a measure of thickness but can be an indicator.

Opacity is the best indicator for thickness

• High Opacity - means it is bulky and feels thicker than the normal weight expectation.

• Low Opacity - means it is more compressed and feels thinner than the normal weight expectation.

• Normal Opacity - means it is considered consistent with the general thickness for the normal weight expectation

Most people know this type of product as scored cards.

Scored means to put indentation usually by way of a pressure mark or cut into the card to make it easier to fold.

The disadvantage of scoring is that after opening and closing the card a few times, the card can fall apart.

We use a superior process called Creasing which does not damage the fibre/grain in the card, instead it makes a gentle fold without any damage to the card stock making for a more durable card

Important Printer information

I do not recommend this stock for use on any inkjet or similar printer.

I also do not recommend it for use on any home desktop laser printer unless that printer is rated for 300gsm stocks.

I can highly recommend any Kwikkopy or Snap Printing shops with commercial grade laser printers to print on this stock.
