Gloss Coated Art Stocks
Property categories:
Glossy Paper/Card Stocks These stocks are called Coated Stocks or sometimes Art Papers.
Same type and feel as the papers used in Magazines and Pamphlets
It is a wood free multicoated paper and card stock. It has a very glossy smooth feel. But it is NOT like a mirror gloss
Inkjet Printers This stock is not specifically designed or rated for ink jet printers. You should request a sample to try before purchasing.
Laser Printers The stock should be ok for dry toner (laser) printers, but again no specific rating or guarantee can be provided for any particular machine. I can say that these paper stocks work perfectly with commercial laser printers such as Xerox and cannon. You should request a sample to try before purchasing if you have any doubts.
Apart from commercial laser printrers, we cannot make any recommendation for suitability for any specific printer laser or inkjet.
*** Important notes about thickness *** further down the listing
This stock does vary in whiteness from lot to lot. Weight: Various (LOW Opacity) (see below for comaparisons) GSM = Grams per Square Metre and is a measure of paper density (grammage) The GSM is not a measure of thickness but can be an indicator. Opacity is the best indicator for thickness High Opacity means it is bulky for its weight and would feel thicker for its weight Normal Opacity means the thickness would be similar to the general expectation Low Opacity means it is more compressed and feels thinner for its weight * PEFC and FSC certified
Weights available on this listing. * UM's means actual thickness in Micromillimeters
